THERE CURRENTLY ARE CURRENLTY 8 TAX DELINQUENT PROPERTIES AVAILABLE FOR SALE. Sealed bids are due by July 10, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The sealed bids will be opened at the Forestry, Land and Parks Cimmittee meeting at 8:00 a.m. on July 13, 2026.
Properties are sold by sealed bid only. Bids must be submitted on Lincoln County’s Bid and Purchase Agreement Form which can be obtained at the Lincoln County Forestry, Land & Parks Department office or from the Lincoln County website. The completed bid form must be accompanied by cashier’s check or money order for 10% of bid made payable to the Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department.
Properties are advertised and sold at or above a minimum bid set by the Forestry, Land and Parks Committee and will not be sold for less than the minimum bid.
If awarded the property, full payment and an additional $30.00 for the deed recording fee, is required within 30 days after notification of acceptance of bid. Conveyance shall be by Quit Claim Deed. Acquisition of the property takes place when the new owners receive the Quit Claim Deed.
There may be outstanding liens that we are not aware of. It is the prospective purchaser’s responsibility to research that information and know what they will be responsible for.
All back taxes are eliminated when the county takes possession of the parcels. Any special assessments, judgments or liens shall be the liability of the Purchaser.
To receive future listings please send a business size, self-addressed, stamped envelope. Addresses are only kept on file until the next land sale and then are deleted. This same procedure must be followed to receive additional land sale listings advertised at a later date.
