New Wood Park

As of noon Tuesday, August 26, 2025 Lincoln County will only be accepting online reservations with credit card payments. The link below will take you to the reservation site.  Please create an account, log in and follow the prompts to reserve a pavilion.

Reservations will increase to $40.00 per day per pavilion with a $25.00 refundable security deposit.  A credit card use fee of $1.00 for charges up to $40.00 and 2-1/2% for charges over $40.00 will be added.

 

Electricity has come to New Wood Park and Campground!  The pavilions now have electricity available with rental reservations.   

 

Construction of the new bridge between the park and campground across Ripley Creek has been completed.

 

Also new, is a pier and kayak launch at the boat landing on the Wisconsin River.

 

New Wood County Park is a 15.7 acre facility located 10 miles northwest of Merrill along the Wisconsin River on scenic State Highway 107. The campground and day use park are connected by a walking bridge across Ripley Creek.

New Wood Park has playground equipment, a picnic area, boat landing, grills, shelters, hiking trails, water pump and toilets. 

The park also includes the scenic Grandfather Falls Segment of the Ice Age Trail. 

Two open sided pavilions are available for daily rentals.

Reservations begin January 1st of each year.
