Services Provided
- Grant Acquisition and Management: Aggressively pursue and manage federal, state, and private funding to support emergency management initiatives and community resilience projects.
- Integrated Preparedness Planning: Develop, update, and implement comprehensive emergency plans in collaboration with community partners and stakeholders.
- Training and Exercises: Provide specialized training programs and conduct regular exercises to enhance the capabilities of emergency personnel, volunteers, and community members.
- Community Outreach and Education: Engage and educate the public on emergency preparedness, resilience, and risk mitigation strategies through workshops, campaigns, and partnerships.
- Multi-Agency Coordination and Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and coordination among local, state, and federal agencies, non-governmental organizations, and community groups for unified emergency response and recovery efforts.
- Disaster Response and Recovery Operations: Lead and coordinate resources during and after disasters to ensure efficient response and support swift recovery for affected communities.
- Resilience Building and Risk Mitigation Initiatives: Develop and support programs aimed at reducing vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and enhancing the long-term resilience of communities and infrastructure.

- Pursue grant funding and other resources from state and federal agencies, including WEM, OEC, FEMA, DHS, and congressional appropriations, to support emergency management and initiatives.

- Enhance training, exercises, and operational coordination to improve readiness for all types of emergencies and disasters.

- Develop and promote strategies and projects that reduce risks from identified hazards, such as severe weather events, flooding, and other threats.
