The Lincoln County Board passed Resolution 2025-02-02 To Form an Ad Hoc Facilities Committee for the purpose of developing recommendation to the County Board. The scope and duties of the committee were to review the existing facility structural needs, review the existing facilities usage, review possible consolidation and/or shared resource opportunities and provide recommendations to the Board for consideration, detailing areas for Lincoln County's overall position concerning long term facility planning.
The Lincoln County Board subsequently passed resolutions, 2025-09-48 and 2025-11-71, which identified Priority Capital Needs Projects, including the Service Center renovations to accommodate the Health Department and the Social Services Department, using the proceeds from the Sale of Pine Crest Nursing Home and the Health and Human Services Building.
