The Lincoln County Solid Waste Dept. is seeking to contract with a qualified engineering and consulting firm to provide general engineering services, including design and construction administration services, engineering support, financial, outreach and education, environmental monitoring, and compliance support. The contract term will be for 5 year period beginning 2/1/25 Proposals must be received by the Solid Waste Dept. 801N. Sales Street, Merrill, WI on or before December 13th, 2024, 4:00 PM and will be publicly opened at the Service Center Office located at 801 N. Sales Street at 4:00 PM. The selected firm is to provide services for all aspects of the Solid Waste Department including but not limited to engineering design, bidding and construction services, construction quality control/quality assurance, operations assistance, environmental monitoring, groundwater, surface water, remediation, landfill gas capture, control and beneficial use, annual updates of closure and post-closures site surveying, permitting, financial planning, and outreach and education services. This contract will accomplish the objective of providing quality service and to assist the County in a cost competitive and compliant regional solid waste system, in accordance with all local, State, and Federal regulations. Other environmental engineering and consulting services may be needed for other components of the County solid waste system. |
