Firewood Permits

Lincoln County allows firewood collection from closed timber sales on County Forest property.

Firewood collection permits are available at the Forestry, Land and Parks Department with gathering allowed from June 1st through March 15th. Permits are for gathering tops and leftover harvested wood from closed timber sales. Permits can be purchased for $20.00 and are valid for 30 days.
