The Land Conservation staff is responsible for preserving and protecting the land and water resources of Lincoln County. This is accomplished by developing and encouraging adoption of programs aimed at conserving soil, water, and related natural resources.
Land Information is responsible for promoting and developing activities throughout all land related departments within Lincoln County that ultimately results in information and data being shared and integrated through the implementation of an automated system. This automated system will provide geographic based data and related information about the county.
The mission of the Long Term Support Unit is to provide options for individuals as an alternative to nursing home and institutional care by coordinating a variety of resources in the community to support them outside an institution. This unit also provides protective services to ensure the rights and safety of those individuals who are incompetent or at risk as designated by Wisconsin Statutes.
