Fluoride Varnishing
Fluoride varnishing is applied to the teeth of infant and children under the age of 5. The varnish program will be made available to Early Childhood/Head Start programs in Lincoln County.

Lincoln County Seal-a-Smile program's goal is to reduce the proportion of school-aged children who have dental caries experience in permanent teeth by increasing the number of dental sealants on their teeth and promoting oral health as part of the child's total health. This is one primary prevention component of the health department's oral health program. These programs promote working within the dental community to establish dental homes for children. The program is offered to all school age children in Lincoln County attending second, third, sixth and seventh grade with signed parental/legal custodian/guardian medical history/consent. This program is made possible by the support of Merrill Area Public Schools, Tomahawk School District, and the Seal-a-Smile Grant from Children's Health Alliance of Wisconsin.
