Prospective Bidder;
Beginning with our Spring 2012 timber sale bid opening, the Lincoln County Forestry Department will require the treatment of stumps for Annosum Root Rot in areas where the management of pine and fir is the objective unless the stand is harvested between December 15 and March 1 when the temperature is below 32 degrees F. Areas that require treatment are noted on the attached sale listing and will be identified on the timber sale map. Pesticide applicators must be certified/licensed by DATCP for this treatment. For a complete copy of our Annosum Root Rot prevention and treatment policy, please contact the Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department at 715-539-1034 or e-mail at kkleinschmidt@co.lincoln.wi.us
If you have any questions about our policy, please feel free to contact me. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Kevin Kleinschmidt
