Our probate records date back to the mid 1800's. Cases commenced prior to 1987 are available only in hardcopy and those filed after 1987 are available on http://wcca.wicourts.gov/index.xsl.
An Index of probate cases filed prior to 1987 is available in the Forms/Documents section of this web site.
Copies of any filed document are $1.00 per page. To search for information, you will need the decedent' first and last name and approximate date of death. If you are requesting copies of a record through mail or e-mail, prepayment will be required. Records dated prior to 1932 may not be available in our office, as they have been transferred to the State Historical Society.
