Adoptions
Form Packets for Stepparent Adoptions can be obtained from the Office of the Register in Probate/Clerk of Juvenile Court. Private and foreign adoptions must be initiated with the assistance of an adoption agency.

Juvenile Delinquents
All Juvenile Delinquency case files and proceedings are closed to the public.
Juvenile Fines and Forfeitures
Juvenile fines and forfeitures for citations issued by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department, the City of Tomahawk Police Department, the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Wisconsin DNR should be paid to Clerk of Juvenile Court, 1110 E. Main Street, Merrill, WI 54452.
Mental Commitments
All Mental Commitment case files and proceedings are closed to the public.
Probate Case Searches
Search for probate cases filed in Lincoln County that may not appear on the State of Wisconsin Circuit Court website.
Termination of Parental Rights
Form Packets for Voluntary Termination of Parental Rights can be obtained from the Office of the Register in Probate/Clerk of Juvenile Court.
Truancy Court
On May 18, 1999 the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 338-99 Amending the General Code of the County of Lincoln (Habitual Truancy).

The first Truancy Court appearance was on June 1, 1999 and the program has been going strong ever since.
Wills
You may deposit your Last Will and Testament for safekeeping with the Register in Probate for a fee of $10.
