Fees Register in Probate Statutory Fee Schedule In addition to the fees set out in the above schedule, Lincoln County requires the following fees: All Form Packets obtained from the Register in Probate are $5. A $200 deposit is required in any case requiring the appointment of a guardian ad litem. Guardianship Forms Guardianship & Protective Placement Guidelines The above is a guideline for use by pro se litigants in Guardianship and/or Protective Placement proceedings. Probate Forms Claim Against Estate Use this form to file a claim against a pending estate. There is a statutory $3 filing fee that must accompany each claim filed. Informal Probate Checklist The above is a checklist developed by the Register in Probate to assist personal representative's in keeping track of the documents they have filed and those that still need to be filed. Order to Examine Safety Deposit Box This form requires the signature of one of the Circuit Court Judges and must be certified by the Register in Probate. Upon providing a certified copy of the signed order to a bank official, you will be able to gain access to the safety deposit box of the decedent.
