The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), a native to Asia, was accidentally introduced to the U.S. and discovered here in 2002. Since then, EAB has spread throughout the lower peninsula of Michigan into Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Missouri and Pennsylvania. On August 1, 2008, the Emerald Ash Borer was first positively identified on a private woodlot in Ozaukee County in southeast Wisconsin. |

| Apr. 30, 2010 - Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) Pilot Program - Forestry, Land & Parks |

Lincoln County is participating in the Utility Terrain Vehicle Pilot Program which replaces the previous Lightweight Utility Vehicle Pilot Program. This program will run from May 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012. UTV’s will be allowed on Lincoln County Summer ATV trails using the normal ATV trail schedule of May 1st through December 1st.
Lincoln County's Harrison Hills ATV Trail will be included in this pilot program. Townships within Lincoln County may opt out of the program if the town does not wish to participate. Please contact a Township official to verify if town roads will be open as routes for this program.
